A Step in the Wrong Direction
This piece entitled "A Step in the Wrong Direction", is a piece to portray how my head would be somewhere else (in work) rather then concentrating on the physical space i was occupying in that time. It was hard to concentrate in college and at home when i was constantly worried about work work work... which of course is the wrong way to be if you want to succeed in what you want to achieve for the present and the future. Hence the concept and structure of this piece.
Shadows have alot of meaning as they are not the physical object etc. they are just the darkened shape the physical thing. The shadows are ment to be the main focus' of these images because of this.
The Materials used here where the MDF steps i had made and then i spraypainted. The words/letters were made out of shoelace, dipped into wax which i then shaped to form words.

Keyboard Art!
I wanted to explore more with what else i could acheive to do with keyboards and i was happy with the results.
Keyboard burnt with blowtorch
Represents a work burn out something we all feel from time to time
Broken Board
Hope is broken
Made by using vacum to make a mould then filling with wax when set i had my keyboard and then i broke it

Fantasy Board...
This is to show the fantasy we can want to believe but on closer inspection you will find it is distorted and not as perfect as you had imagined.
This was made in the same manner as the wax keyboard above with the exclusion of being broken.
Contextual
I luckily came across some interesting artwork using keyboards as it really connects with items in my project and the fact that i really like them here are some images i found for my Critical and Contextual Research
